About Michael

Audiences around the world have hailed Michael Grandinetti as a very talented and creative young illusionist.   His incredible magic has been featured on numerous television shows and in front of various audiences including corporations such as Hewlett Packard, Harley-Davidson, etc.  He has also designed original illusions for Las Vegas and Branson production shows, national film and television projects.  He has received rave reviews and is fact becoming one of the best illusionists in the country.

Notable Accomplishment (partial list):

  • One of the youngest performers admitted into both the Society of American Magicians (14) and the Academy of Magical Arts (21).

  •  Received the City of Pittsburgh’s “All-Star Achievement Award”, given to those who carve a unique path in their industry.

  •  Recreated an original levitation illusion, first performed by famous illusionist Doug Henning in 1986, using Henning’s original props on the beach in Santa Monica, California

  •  While only 21 years old, produced and performed original two-hour grand illusion show, with many never before seen illusions and full-scale production routines, at Pittsburgh’s historic Byham Theater for a capacity crowd of 1500 people

  • Had the distinct honor of being the youngest professional illusionist invited to perform on the NBC television special “The World’s Most Dangerous Magic II”

  • Created a national publicity event by accurately predicting the exact score and outcome of the 2003 AFC Playoff Game and Superbowl XXXVII LIVE on national radio

  •  Became the first and only illusionist to perform on the stage of Heinz Hall with Marvin Hamlisch and the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra for a combined audience of over 18,000 people

  •  Promoted the ABC Family Channel’s “World Magic Awards” by levitating a girl, LIVE, on the streets of New York City with repeat performances at Grand Central Station, Columbus Circle, and Rockefeller Center

  • Magical hands featured in both a national US Treasury Commercial, creating magic with the new twenty-dollar bill, and a promo for the UPN Television Network entitled “An Amazing May”

  •  Only illusionist ever invited to perform on the red carpet of ESPN’s ESPY Awards, broadcast live from the Kodak Theater in Hollywood

  • Magically cut the budget director of Countrywide Financial in half at the Fairmont Orchid Resort in Kona, Hawaii
